What to Expect
Thank you for choosing Marysville Animal Care Center as your other family doctor. We consider it our privilege to take care of your pet and provide the best value for the pet owner.
When you visit our hospital you will be greeted by one of our receptionists at the front desk. If you have a dog they will ask you to have them step on the scale by the desk. They will confirm the reason for your visit then have you take a seat in our waiting room while they alert our staff in the back of your arrival.
Once the exam room as been cleaned and prepared you will be asked by one of our trained assistants to enter so that they may get vital signs and ask a few questions about your pet’s history or any new issues so that they brief the doctor before they enter the room. One of our veterinarians will do a thorough physical exam and go over the findings of the exam with you. After the exam, the doctor may recommend various diagnostics or treatments if your pet isn’t feeling well or administer vaccines and discuss other wellness topics if your pet is healthy. One of our registered technicians will provide an estimate of costs at this point and answer any additional questions you might have before proceeding with any agreed upon diagnostics or treatments.
When you are ready to check out you will go back to the reception area where you checked in and one of our receptionists will take your payment and provide you with any additional products you may need.
We appreciate any feedback that you can give us about your experience at the hospital. If you feel your visit could have been better we want to know. If you had a positive experience we will let our staff hear about it.
*For the safety of our patients and clients please have your dog on a leash and your cat in a carrier. If you need to borrow a leash, just ask one of our staff members and they will provide you with one. Thank you for your understanding.
