Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Melissa DeLauter graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 after earning her undergraduate degree in Zoology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Upon graduation, she spent eight years at a small animal general practice in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She moved back to Ohio in 2016 to be closer to family and practiced emergency and small animal medicine before joining the Marysville Animal Care Center team in August 2022. She has a special interest in surgery.

Dr. DeLauter resides in Marysville with her husband, daughter and two crazy cats. She is excited to be able to work in her community and hopes to make Marysville Animal Care Center your “go to” veterinary hospital. Dr. DeLauter’s passion is to provide exceptional patient care, as well as an amazing client experience. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, neighborly get togethers, and spending time outdoors. We are proud to have Dr. DeLauter on staff here at MACC to help serve our patients and their owners as we continue to grow.
